The purpose of this conference is to bring a joint and collective voice of Afghan women that seems to be excluded from the grand Kabul Conference which is taking place on July 20, 2010. The women from different provinces, came together to solidify their voices at the capital of the country. They called on the Afghan government and international interlocutors to address women’s needs and concerns according to the priorities that were set by Afghanistan National Development Strategy (ANDS), Afghan Constitution (2004), National Action Plan for Women (NAPWA) at the center of the Kabul conference.
