CSW68 Knowledge sharing session 4 - Gender, Poverty and Financing

Date: 11-07-2023
Time: 13.00 - 14.00 hrs
Location: online (link below)

WO=MEN and Atria in collaboration with Soroptimist International are organizing a series of knowledge sessions in preparation for the 68th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) of the United Nations (UN).

The upcoming CSW will not take place until March 2024. So why all these preparatory sessions now?

EU member states will start negotiations on the EU position for the upcoming CSW as early as October 2023. In recent years, this EU position has turned out to be increasingly important and leading for the efforts of the EU delegation during the CSW negotiations. It is therefore important that civil society in the Netherlands starts preparing our priorities and recommendations to the Dutch (and EU) delegation in good time.
