The murder of the London Sarah Everard (33) stirs up many emotions. Being attacked while alone on the street in the dark: it is the fear of many women. "Worrying about getting home safe shouldn't be normal."
 
These are precautions that almost all women and young girls recognize, says Laila Ait Baali, director of women's rights organization WO=MEN. "Worrying about getting home safely shouldn't be normal, but unfortunately it is. The fact that the suspect in Sarah's murder is a police officer who serves to protect you makes her story even more painful.
