CSW66: Accountability for all women and girls: Delivering on the ICPD and Beijing Agendas

This side event will draw connections between the Nairobi Summit and the Generation Equality Forum (GEF), galvanizing the ambition and energy of both forums to deliver on the implementation of both agendas, and to ensure accountability for both, including through the use of population data. The objectives of the event are to assess implementation strategies and accountability mechanisms essential to linking the Nairobi Summit and the Generation Equality Forum, revitalize political energy and emphasize already existing commitments for both agendas, demonstrate and share best practices on implementation and accountability on the sexual and reproductive health and rights agenda in various contexts. The event will also reiterate how gender equality and sexual and reproductive health and rights are inextricably linked, interdependent and challenged by climate change.
