formal CSW70 programme inside the UN. The Dutch CSW Youth
Representative, Sarah Meijer from CHOICE for Youth and Sexuality, will
participate in this dialogue.
This session will
elevate the voices, expertise, and lived experiences of young people in
advancing access to justice through diverse approaches, including legal
empowerment, traditional justice mechanisms, strategic litigation, and
transitional justice processes. By fostering intergenerational and
intersectional exchange across national, regional, and global levels,
the dialogue will focus on the role of youth in ensuring and
strengthening access to justice for all women and girls, including by
promoting inclusive and equitable legal systems, eliminating
discriminatory laws, policies, and practices, and addressing structural
barriers.
The outcome of the interactive dialogue
will be in the form of a summary by the Chair of the Commission,
prepared in consultation with the regional groups, through the members
of the Bureau.
