This session will have English and Spanish interpretation available.
In
this online session we will launch the new report: "Stronger Together:
Exploring Diverse Models of Civil Society and State Engagement in the
CSW Cycle." This is the first international research into the different
ways civil society works with national governments towards the UN
Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). It aims to contribute to a
roadmap for strengthening our collective impact on global policy.
Drawing
on five in-depth case studies from Argentina, Australia, Jordan, the
Netherlands and Nigeria, this research explores how feminist movements
navigate diverse and shifting political landscapes in their engagements
in CSW processes. The case studies cover a broad range of contexts, from
robust institutional partnerships to resilience strategies against
anti-gender attacks.
Panelists will share
experience with the diverse strategies that drive collective impact,
offering actionable recommendations for governments and civil society to
build trust and ensure meaningful participation in global policy
processes.
