In January and February 2026, we will be offering various online update and knowledge-sharing sessions about the upcoming UN Women's Summit, better known as the CSW (UN Commission on the Status of Women). Each meeting will provide an opportunity to share updates and ask questions about the upcoming CSW. WO=MEN will also invite a different expert each time to discuss a specific theme related to the upcoming CSW.

Theme of this teach-in: Taking domestic violence into account in family law decisions – why implemention of Article 31 of the Istanbul Convention is important.
Presentation by Ariane Hendriks, teacher of family- and juvenile law at Tilburg University, author (with Ingrid Vledder) of the Dutch book "Met liefde heeft het niets te maken" ('It has nothing to do with love').

Please note this presentation may take place in Dutch - it depends on the speaker. Some of the sessions in this series may however be in English. Should you wish to share something or ask questions related to the CSW in English, please feel free to join in for the initial CSW Update portion of the programm.
