How to guide the disability inclusion process at organisational and at consortium level?

DCDD is happy to invite you to the first live exchange session of the ‘Power of Disability Inclusion’ series, on the topic: ’How to guide the disability inclusion process at organisational and at consortium level?’ During the session we’ll analyse the inclusiveness of your organisation/consortium with help of the Disability Inclusion Score Card and will discover next steps to further strengthen the inclusion process. Exchange on disability mainstreaming at organisational level is central in this session, and there is space for networking too! 

WHY & WHAT? An important part of strengthening civil society is making space for and amplifying the voices of persons with disabilities to be heard, in society as well as in the design of development programmes. In collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we want CSO partners to get together for a series of meet-ups in which we exchange and explore the most effective ways to make disability inclusion happen. During the series we share tools for disability inclusive programming, facilitate in-country connections and exchange experiences on inclusive advocacy. The specific learning agenda is developed based on inputs from all participants. 

WHO?  This live session will be organized primarily for consortium coordinators to join together with one other consortium colleague. It is part of a series of meet-ups for consortia who receive funding under the Strengthening Civil Society (SCS) framework (incl. Power of Voices, Power of Women, SRHR partnerships, WPS programs, Voice, Leading from the South).

WHEN?  We look back on two successful online meet-ups (February 1st and June 1st). This is an invite for the first live meet-up, taking place on July 7th, 2022 at 13.30 – 16.30 CET time. Curious to see the planning for all upcoming sessions? Check out the full programme here.
