More information:
More and more young people are going online to find information about their sexuality and sexual health. In this digital world, social media platforms play a pivotal role in providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for young people to find reliable SRHR information. But how safe and inclusive are these online spaces? Do online algorithms result in unwanted discrimination and deepen the gender gap? How do governments extend their authoritative measures to online spaces? How can civil society make online spaces safer and more inclusive?

Our key speakers are:
  • Houyem Mchirgui, Advocacy Project Manager/Digital Security Officer, Mawjoudin We Exist
  • Diala Daher, Project Coordinator, Muntada Al-Jensaneya (The Arab Forum for Sexuality, Education and Health)
  • Nadim Nashif, Executive Director, 7amleh - The Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media
