Storytelling for Solidarity

Date: 01-11-2025
Time: 4pm - 7pm
Location: BAK Basecamp, Pauwstraat 13A, 3512 TG Utrecht

Politicians and the media has recently doubled down on weaponizing human movement, fueling hatred and fear for political gain, creating dangerous narratives and deepening injustices already faced by migrant communities. The already often already precarious situation of migrants and refugees in The Netherlands has thus become even more perilous.

Migration is not a crime, and not a problem to be solved.  It is a human reality shaped by courage, resilience, and hope. It is part of who we are, part of our stories.

It’s time to shift the conversation and reclaim the narrative.

Thus, New Women Connectors proudly announces their Storytelling for Solidarity event, through which they aim to counter far-right narratives and harmful stereotyping of migrants and refugees.
