War Child Masterclass "Intergenerational transmission of trauma" postponed

Date: 21-04-2020

The masterclass about the intergenerational transmission of trauma that would have taken place on the 21st of April will be postponed as a result of the restrictions brought about by the coronavirus pandemic. The masterclass will now take place on Tuesday 27th of October from 01.30 till 06.00 PM in Amsterdam. You do not have to register again for this meeting. In the autumn we will send you more information about the programme, location and speakers.

War Child moves to awareness-raising and prevention

I am incredibly proud that so many of my colleagues have come up with creative solutions on how to continue to protect children in war, despite the pandemic. We distribute hygiene kits and educate children and their parents how to shield their children from the coronavirus. We try to reach as many children as possible by telephone, internet and with special messages on radio stations and sound systems in refugee camps. We provide distance education so that children don't fall behind even more in learning. And we support refugee children with psychosocial aid packages. Each package contains educational games and exercises. Because every child needs protection, even in this crisis.
