Exchange visit women and youth peacebuilders Armenia, Azerbaijan & Moldova
Date: 14-02-2024Time: 11:00-13:00Location: Office WO=MENOn Wednesday 14th of February a group of 8 representatives of women- and youth led organizations from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova will visit WO=MEN's office. These relatively new and small organizations work on gender equality, youth empowerment and supporting marginalized communities within decision-making on peace and security. They would like to share their insights into the peacebuilding priorities of their respective communities in the region and the challenges faced by these communities. They are also very interested to learn from more established NGOs working in the field of peace and security. The group is supported by Global Women Peacebuilders Network and part of the BREN Embed Fellows programme.
Signatories to the NAP 1325 and WO=MEN members are kindly invited to attend this meeting. Registration is mandatory at a.dekker@wo-men.nl before Friday 9th of February COB.
