Dear All,

 

I would like to draw your attention to something that has certainly not passed you by in recent days. It's about the current situation in Afghanistan. As many of you know, the situation in Afghanistan has been dire since the Taliban took power. The images that have been shared en masse on the news and social media in recent days speak for themselves. This is not about race or religion, but about standing up for human rights at the moment.

 

For this reason, I would like to appeal to your mercy and support at the time of this humanitarian crisis. Help is needed from neighboring countries, which is not being offered at the moment. The Afghan people are left to their own devices. *This cannot and should not happen*! Together we must ensure that this message is spread further.

 

On Saturday 21 August, we are organizing a demonstration to highlight the appalling conditions in Afghanistan. I invite you all to meet from 14:00 at Rotterdam Blaak in front of the Markthal. Together we give the people of Afghanistan a voice. We can't do this without your help.
