CSW67 NGO Forum - Hybrid side event: Feminist Perspectives on the Impact of Militarization on Rural Women

SIHA Network organizes the following hybrid side event during CSW67.

 

 

Panel discussion on the impacts of war, conflict, and militarization on rural women in the Horn of Africa. Using an intersectional feminist lens and bringing in knowledge and experience from their work in the region, discussants will reflect on the need for the interests and voices of rural women to be reflected in the WPS agendas and national budgets of their countries and across the region. 

 

The discussion will seek to amplify the concerns and priorities of rural women in the Horn of Africa at this international platform and make policy recommendations to inform the CSW67 outcome document.
