Disability Rights in Broader Social Movements

This side event to the Global Disability Summit will bring together activists based in the Global South to discuss cross-movement collaboration at the intersections of disability, gender, and sexuality. The discussion will address engagements on legal capacity, sexual and gender diversity and disability justice, as well as disability rights within sexual and reproductive health and rights. The objective of the session is to learn about successful strategies for cross-movement collaboration and the faultlines activists traversed to build more collective and inclusive spaces.
