Whether you live below sea level, or high up in the mountains, climate change impacts us all - but not in the same way. Thankfully, there are plenty of gender-just solutions to the climate crisis, and we have invited two speakers to tell us all about their experience working in mountainous regions.
Join us for an inspiring lecture featuring Gender Just Climate Solutions Award winners Anisa Abibuloeva (Tajikistan) and Bhavya George (India).
Anisa Abibuloeva (
Little Earth) will share her work on building a stronger environmental movement via youth engagement and supporting remote mountain communities in Tajikistan to adapt to climate change through solar energy solutions.
Bhavya George (
Keystone Foundation) will offer ground-level insights into gender-inclusive climate solutions such as Analog Forestry, Climate Education with the Adivasi (indigenous) and local communities.
This event is organised in collaboration with our member Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF).
