The NAP 1325 coordinators are proud to partner with the International Civil Society Action Network (ICAN) during the Public Day of their 11th Women, Peace and Security Forum ‘Security Re-imagined’ on 30 September. The Public Day is a major international gathering bringing together women peacebuilders, policymakers and allies from around the world. The Dutch NAP 1325 community, in particular the Ministry of Justice and Security and the National Police, will play a major role during the Public Day.
What does security look like when we put women peacebuilders at the centre?
As the global security landscape continues to change, the Women, Peace and Security agenda remains more important than ever. We look forward to bringing women’s voices, leadership and lived experiences to the heart of these conversations.
